Francis de Lanoy
Dr. Francis de Lanoy holds a doctoral degree in organizational management and leadership and a master's degree in general management. He has over 20 years of management experience in top executive positions and has held the position of general manager, finance manager in the oil and service sector in Curaçao. In September 2009 Dr. De Lanoy joined the University of the Netherlands Antilles (UNA) - now the University of Curaçao Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez (UoC) - in the position of full-time associate professor of management and financial sciences. In 2010 he became the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics and since October 2012 he has been appointed as the Rector Magnificus of the university. His main research areas include Organizational development and leadership, Strategic management and Finance. Dr. De Lanoy is a certified auditor for ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9002 standards.
